A week of thought for me. I realized, I’m not cut out to be an artist. 2D or 3D. Unfortunately there are too many others out there who started before me, and have much more experience. What I’m going to do next? Well I’m looking into a journalism career. That was my first dream. And now it’s back.

A boring day. Nothing to write home about.

Sent out some resume’s today. I’m hoping to get some call backs tomorrow.
Been working in MAX for most of the day. Learned a valuable lesson. Never, never, forget to save. MAX crashes more than most applications I use. But it’s all good.
My sister came home from Amsterdam yesterday.I personally couldn’t be happier.
Anyways, I’ve moved onto 3ds. It’s really daunting when I first opened it. But now that I have some of the more basic features down it’s a really fun program to work in. I love it. The rendering is so amazing, and the ease of use and just everything is great.
I’m also working on a tiny project with some people. I’ll have more on that a little later. We’re still working out the kinks. But it’s really fun so far.

Today was weird. I woke up a bit late this morning. Shocked to find out, the whole family is staying home today! Most would think that’s great. But I had to get up every five minutes to help clean. So, that wasn’t too fun. But, all in all it was a good day. But a bad day— As a person who follows the game industry closely, and especially the Microsoft side of things I was sad to hear that Peter Moore left Microsoft today. It was a great run Peter! 2003-2007, you made me want an Xbox 360 and I thank you for that.
After all that I managed to block out a board from one of my favorite games. (SOCOM II) For Playstation 2. I still have a lot of tweaking to do, and I still have to texture the whole thing. But here it is:

Well, I emailed some places and asked what they were looking for. No replies back. Honestly, I’m not expecting any. But it would be great to get at least one reply. Nobody can bat .1000,
And I called another developer and had the most nervous phone call ever. I could barely talk. I don’t understand why i get so nervous so easily. I gotta work on that.
Anyways, a work in progress. But a drowsy humid Monday, and this is all I can think of. Bright skies!
